This project stems from the collaboration between the administrator and the Native Community, driven by their shared concern for preserving the area within the boundaries of this Native Community’s land. Their goal is to secure the area’s future through a Feasibility Study that will enable Carbon Offset Certification, designating the property as a “Preserved Zone.” The certification would provide access to carbon offset markets, and the resulting funds would support joint efforts with the administrator to strengthen the community’s capacity to protect the area against potential threats.

Earning the “Preserved Zone” label is just the beginning. With the funds generated, the administrator and the community plan to invest in advanced protection tools such as digital border monitoring, fire detection sensors, and video surveillance systems to prevent unauthorized access. Additionally, investments will be made in biodiversity growth through reforestation, soil improvement, and enhanced conditions to support increased flora and fauna.

The project is currently in the process of securing funding through sponsorships from multinational companies.
